YIKES!!! Good thing the nature thing didn’t work out, cause I wasn’t very good at it.
In my first class at Brooks I took a picture of a leaf thingy growing in a pond. The teacher liked it and it has hung on the wall at Brooks ever since (that was 2002, I just saw it on the wall last week when I was visiting the campus)
This is a terrible picture from my camera phone, but here’s the culprit that mislead my goals for a while:

You’re a star at Brooks! Tim, I started a photoblog yesterday to force myself to shoot every day (at least that’s the plan) and hopefully improve my photography. Stop by and say hello if you get a chance.
