A couple years back Heather contacted us to take family portraits for her parent’s 40th wedding anniversary, which we had a blast doing. Sometime after, she met and fell in love with her now husband – Peter. We were thrilled to hear from her when she gave us the news that she was engaged and wanted us to create new memories for her on her wedding day.
Heather and Peter chose the Valley Club of Montecito for their wedding ceremony and reception celebration. The two of them got ready in separate guest houses located just to the side of where the festivities took place. Below are a few of our favorite pictures from their day.
Mom and Dad proudly watch as their daughter recites her vows at the Valley Club of Montecito.
Their wedding at the Valley Club of Montecito was a picturesque day – morning clouds threatened rain, but that never came to pass as they subsided into benign paintings of white on a blue canvas.
The golf course at the Valley Club of Montecito is the perfect setting for Heather & Peter’s wedding portraits.
Juniper Floral Designs did a fantastic job on Heather’s wedding flowers. I love the fanciful moss that cover the stands and the succulents positioned among white hydrangeas… so pretty. Heather also had a really creative idea for escort cards… She had names attached to little butterflies that were glued onto tiny clothespins and then clipped to a tree of branches. Making it appear to be a flurry of butterflies… I loved it!
Just after the sun went down we took a second to grab this shot of the Valley Club of Montecito at dusk, such a gorgeous place to have a wedding.
Also be sure to check out our previous wedding at the Valley Club of Montecito – Brad & Emily.
