When Christie first emailed me asking a few photo questions, I had no idea it would turn into a full blown 2-day workshop that took place last Thursday and Friday.
Christie started out by asking a couple lighting and work flow questions and before we knew it we were chatting about her flying out to Santa Barbara from Texas for an intense two days of learning about the portrait photography business. I was absolutely honored to do this for her and so I set up a couple photo sessions, taught her all about f-stops, exposures, lighting, Photoshop, Lightroom, work flow and more.
Here are a couple “teasers” from the senior portrait session we shot on Thursday and the family portrait session we shot on Friday. It was great to hang out with Christie and share my knowledge with her… I think it’s when you start teaching someone else that you realize how much you really know or don’t know about a topic.
Thanks Christie for making the trip out here! Check out her blog to see some of her pics as well. I think she did an amazing job!
