Brad and Kathleen’s Santa Barbara Beach Club Wedding was a blast to photograph. There were so many unique details that really made the beach theme come together in a fun and classy way.
Starting with this wood sign, hand painted to direct guests towards the Santa Barbara Beach Club.
Kathleen had tons of custom designed stationary placed as instructions for guests. One of my favorite being the “Toss Your Shoes” sign, placed next to two baskets where guests were invited to kick off their heals and enjoy the day barefooted.
Believe it or not, below on the left is their Santa Barbara wedding invitation. I think it’s a poster, but am not entirely sure. On the right is a detail of a paper bird, hanging on a tree branch by an orange ribbon. Guests were invited to write special blessings and wishes to the bride and groom.
Kathleen and Brand’s first look.
Their Santa Barbara Beach Club wedding was an all white occasion (with a few splashes of color here and there). The lighting was dressed up in white, as were the chairs and the guests were asked to wear all white. Even Tim and I were asked to wear white, which was of course an awesome excuse for me to find a new JCrew dress, thanks Kathleen!
Instead of asking their wedding guests to throw the traditional rice or flower pedals, Brand and Kathleen had beach balls tossed at them, so fun!
Yet another custom designed cocktail straws to their Santa Barbara Beach Club wedding.
The Santa Barbara Beach Club is a beautiful location for anyone seeking a classy beach wedding. Here all the guests are sitting down to eat at a single long dinner table.
Tonya Szele of Soigne Productions worked tremendously hard to create a flawless day for Brad and Kathleen.
