Molly and Chas are true troopers (didn’t you hate it when your folks used that word?? and now I’m a dad and I use it!) well, it’s true here – these guys rescheduled their wedding plans countless times, from one location/date to another, to another and then split into two – a ceremony in the San Francisco Botanical Gardens, and then couple’s photos in Yosemite at Glacier Point.
I LOVE Molly’s burnt orange dress!! I’m a sucker for things that are different, and I told Molly that I have a thing for red dresses – well, she tells me she actually had a red dress picked out, and last minute made the decision to run with this, and I have to say, she did WELL!!!
Now, if you haven’t done sunrise at Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park, you are missing out!!!! I SUCK at getting myself up early, but when I know it’s for sunrise with a wedding elopement at Glacier Point, I’ve got no problem making that happen.
Making it even better, we scored on some amazing photos in several different locations – I think that’s one of my favorite things about exploring Yosemite for wedding photos, and especially using Glacier Point for elopements or intimate weddings, we can use so many different spots and create so many unique photos/angles. My goal every time I shoot is to create a photo I haven’t done before, and I pulled that over on repeat with these two.
I hope you enjoy their photos as much as I do – and I hope any inspired couples who are considering a sunrise wedding in Yosemite will hit me up so we can plan the best location for your elopement photos! Glacier Point might be closed in 2021, but I’ve already got couples who are doing the hike up 4 mile trail with me to take advantage of having the place to ourselves!!!
