When our friend and Santa Barbara wedding coordinator Zohe Felici told us she had the perfect couple we knew that taking pictures of Kimberly and Andrew was going to be fun, but when we finally met up for their session, we were floored with just how easy going and fun their entire session was. Kimberly and Andrew are incredibly playful and adventurous and we had so much fun exploring the Ellwood Preserve with them for their Santa Barbara engagement session.
Andrew and Kimberly started out their session with “Save The Date” cards to use in a photo strip for their guests:
Jumping a little forward in their Santa Barbara session, we had to hit the beach and we scored the most golden sunset for the two of them to take the adventure to the water.
I’m obsessed with flare and we had some AMAZING chances to play with it on the beach.
Ellwood offers some of Santa Barbara’s best sunset views with a mixture of forest, beach and sweeping grass fields.
Not only are Andrew and Kimberly playful, but their expressiveness and ability to make each other smile endlessly put a smile on our faces as we captured their session.
Sometimes I have to play tricks on couples to get them to smile, but Kimberly and Andrew’s naturally playful attitudes created a bold mix of pictures.
Kimberly and Andrew – thank you for an incredibly fun and inspiring session and for being fearless in front of our cameras. We look forward to your Santa Barbara wedding!
