Themed weddings are incredibly fun to shoot and this one did not disappoint. Jeff and Marinda asked all their guests to show up in their best 1920’s dress to complete their prohibition themed wedding.
No detail went unnoticed, here is of one of several wedding cocktails they provided to help get their guests in the mood and celebrate the prohibition era.
For their San Francisco wedding at Stafford Lake, they started the processional with a theatrical performance of a “silent film”. The bridal party frantically ran around the stage acting out scenes of things that often go wrong with weddings, from losing the wedding rings to a reluctant flower girl not wanting to come down the isle.
The mayhem was “narrated” with signs like this one. Check out our Facebook page to see more scenes of their San Francisco wedding.
Marinda was stunning in her wedding dress and 1920’s style wedding veil.
Stafford Lake is a beautiful wedding location in Navato, CA, which is part of the greater San Francisco area. Rolling hills and willow trees surround the lake making it an incredible place for photography. You can see more scenic views on our Facebook page as well. Just take a look at the album titled “Jeff & Marinda”
The wedding party did such an amazing job getting into character. Everything came together so well, this image to me fully captures the mood and spirit of the wedding day.
