Adam and Kimberly connected with me via one of my favorite photographer friend’s Jill – she promised me that Adam and Kimberly were “my people” – and she couldn’t have been more correct. Our adventure traveling to Mexico (one of my favorite places to visit each year) and getting to explore the area with my wife in tow, then spending three days celebrating with one of the most gregarious couples (well, Adam might well be THE MOST gregarious individual I’ve met) was beyond fun – that I get paid to spend time with people like this made my year.
Adam and Kimberly were non-stop smilers! I trust people who smile 😉
The sun drenched their rehearsal dinner with golden light and I had a great time capturing images of Kimberly and Adam being their smiling gregarious selves with their friends and family.
I may not be very good at the game, but playing Cornhole on the beach in Mexico with beers in hand? Yes.
One of my favorite wedding details are shoes – my personal collection tends to dwarf my wife’s – but I’m always envious of amazing heals.
Getting ready is a time to play and create images that aren’t as available later in the day – and when the bridesmaids are there for the fun, personalities really shine!
I’m a bit of a sucker for emotion – not only can it make or break a photo, but it adds a ton of meaning to my work.
The detail work on Kimberly’s dress kept my attention all day.
For being as loud and over the top as Adam is, he still has a gentle side that came through pretty clearly a couple of times during the weekend.
One of my favorite things about destination weddings is taking some time to explore – so moving around the St. Regis property at Punta Mita was a must.
Every time I wrap up a wedding, all I want to do is go dancing, it’s the energy of everyone at a wedding that really gets me going!
Adam and Kimberly were a total blast to work with, and getting to spend nearly a week in Mexico is tough to beat! Huge thanks to the team from Signature Mexico event planning for putting it all together!
Tim, I really enjoyed these pics. Love how you capture the emotions and freeze the moment. Beautiful job!
Tim…you couldn’t be more right on when you speak of the emotions making the pics/event and brining meaning to your profession! I rather enjoyed these pics! And I too am a fan of the detailed wedding dress!
