Brad & Emily flew in from New York city to celebrate their wedding at the exclusive Valley Club of Montecito with their friends and family, most of whom were from California. They worked hard along side their wedding coordinator Heather Ham to make it a classic & elegant wedding with touches of vintage elements, that their guests would enjoy and simply have a good time with.
Emily got ready with her bridesmaids at a private Montecito estate where her wedding ceremony was held.
We loved the finishing touches Emily chose for her wedding accessories, from her vintage wedding necklace and earrings, to the three white roses in her loose up-do.
Emily’s Forever Yours wedding dress looked stunning on her as she put her own spin on it by adding a deep purple sash held in place by an antique brooch. Her bouquet was an all white bundle of peonies and each bridesmaid carried a vintage purse adorned with white roses instead of the traditional bridesmaid bouquet.
As wedding guests arrived at the Montecito estate they were welcomed by tubs of beer, wine , lemonade and water to help themselves to a refreshment before the ceremony began. Emily clothes-pinned pictures from her and Brad’s childhood onto clothing line as a decorative piece for guests to view and reminisce over.
The wedding ceremony took place in the lush backyard of Brad’s parent’s private Montecito estate. A perfect setting for their special day.
After the wedding ceremony, everyone headed over to the exclusive Valley Club of Montecito (a picturesque golf course available to members only) to enjoy the cocktail hour and wedding reception.
Inside the Valley Club of Montecito guests gathered around espresso finished natural wood tables, each with a burlap runner and topped by vintage bottles filled with various wildflowers. Guests found their table by grabbing their escort card held in a wooden tray filled with coffee beans. During the cocktail hour friends & family were invited to write a note to Emily and Brad on vintage postcards, which were scheduled to be mailed to them later – one per week of their first year of marriage.
We couldn’t resist grabbing Brad and Emily for a few portraits of the two of them at sunset at the breathtaking Valley Club of Montecito
