Dan and Melanie’s wedding at the Westin Cabo San Lucas resulted in one of the most spectacular sunsets I’ve had the opportunity to photograph all year.
It’s always an honor to be asked to photograph someone’s wedding – but when that someone has been following your photography since before you officially started your business – that’s just awesome!
Melanie “discovered” me years ago when I started a blog called Photo-a-day (can you guess what the premise was????) When she contacted me and said she was getting married, I was excited, but when she added that she was getting married at the Westin in Los Cabos, Mexico – I was in!
The colors around the Westin are exactly what I want for a wedding in Mexico – oh, and the architecture – for days around the Westin – you could spend a full day taking photos all over the property and never see the same thing.
I’ve photographed a lot of destination weddings and I always appreciate when we get to feature the natural surroundings as a part of the day! Los Cabos, Mexico is known for it’s beaches and beautiful waters and the Westin does a great job of putting it all into play.
That sunset! #nofilter (totally kidding, if you created a digital photo there was a filter) 😉
Such a perfect day and what an adventure traveling to Mexico. I had a blast hanging out with Dan and Melanie and their rowdy friends (I just wish I’d of jumped into the pool with them!!)
