It’s a true statement to say that I’m PASSIONATE about my craft of photography. But I have this crazy notion that I should enjoy my personal pursuits with the same passion. I want to spend quality time with my beautiful wife and baby daughter, and have time to pursue my appetite for adventure which includes hiking, camping, golfing and hunting. How do I manage to have it all?
Funny you should ask. I can tell you all about it at the upcoming WPPI conference and expo in Las Vegas this March. My class is titled “Embrace Your Life, Not Your Business – Creating free time by working smarter not harder”. The date is Tuesday, March 8th. If this sounds like a new concept you want to incorporate into your life, I can’t wait to meet you and share my story. Here is the class description to get you excited about signing up for my class.

MC40-Embrace Your Life – Not Your Business: Creating free-time by working smarter, not harder.
Tim is a wedding photographer with obsessions. He has to spend time with his wife and beautiful baby, and has to be outdoors mountain biking, golfing, hiking, and backpacking. So he’s had to find ways to build free time into his business, to outsource, to focus, work faster, smarter and never harder than needed. Some photographers tell him doesn’t work hard enough, but Tim thinks they’ve become slaves to their own business. He enabled himself to do what he wants, when he wants while making a living as a wedding photographer. He can’t wait to share with you how YOU too can keep your sanity while embracing your life.
The WPPI conference + expo is the largest convention in North America for wedding and portrait photographers. With attendance numbers reaching 13,000 people and 300 exhibitors, WPPI is the leading conference + expo in the U.S. combining educational seminars by industry leaders, a major exhibition of the latest photographic products and services, and networking events for building relationships and growing businesses. I’m pretty stoked to be asked to speak to my fellow photographers.
I’m looking sharing my story with you in hopes that it will help you to get to know your obsessions again. Register Here and I’ll see you in Vegas!
